Such a funny video and oddly describes my life perfectly over the past four months! Enjoy :)

Vamos a Espana, Aye Aye Aye!
Mis Amigas y yo fuimos a Espana por diez dias! ohhh noooo…
These past ten days have been out of this world! We made our way to my favorite place so far, Espana! We started out by flying into Valencia which is on the eastern coast of Spain. Unfortunately, it wasn’t beach weather but we definitely made the best of our time there. Mainly by drinking heavy amounts of Sangria along with large quantities of Paella and Tapas…but can you really blame us? On the second day we headed out towards the beach, even if we had to wear windbreakers and jeans it was nice being able to dip my toes in the water and walk in the sand!
After a few days in Valencia, and a few failed attempts at catching trains, we finally got to Madrid. Although we were only there for one night we got a lot of sights in along with a solid night out. Thankfully my brother’s good friend Lindsay lives in Madrid and was able to translate and be our tour guide for the few hours we were there. After seeing the statue of the fallen angel (“the devil”), the Real Madrid stadium, and walking around Puerta del Sol we got ready and headed out for Tapas at El Tigre! Talk about amazing!! You could buy a drink and they bring you free tapas that included croquettes, sausage and ham with bread, and potato wedges. Then we were off to Kapital, a very popular night club in Madrid which was seven stories! It was a crazy and exhausting night since most people do not go to the bar/club until 1:30AM! I think I am getting too old for this already!
Our train the next morning was at 8:00am so naturally we got 2 hours of sleep and then made our way to the train station for a nice 5 hour journey to Cadiz, Spain. Cadiz is in the southern part of Spain off of the Atlantic Ocean. We got in around 1pm, and made our way straight to the beach for a siesta to regain our strength! While in Cadiz we mainly just relaxed because we knew Barcelona was in a few days and that there was no way we could have gone ten days straight in Spain. haha. The next day ended up being 80 degrees, perfect beach weather, and we were even able to get in the water! A few beers and some great friends made for a wonderful day and a great 21st birthday for Suzanne, a girl in my program! We needed to get a good night’s sleep because the next day we decided why not but to go to Morocco for a day tour!! Definitely one of the coolest experiences I have had in Europe and even in my life!
We took a ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar (which was only 35 minutes surprisingly) then were off on a bus tour of Tangier! Our first stop…to ride camels!! Could not have been more excited to do something in my entire life!! Then next we headed for another tour through the old city and the medina, we stopped for a traditional Moroccan lunch which was absolutely delicious (what a cultural experience!). Next we went to a Carpet factory where everything is hand dyed and hand woven, then next to a traditional Moroccan Pharmacy. This is where they sell their spices like Saphron and Aargon Oil. Who would think that saphron also doubles as a way to lower cholesterol and heartburn?? After quick stops in the markets with our tour guides we headed back to the buses, at a quick pace I might add. The vendors in Morocco are ruthless and will follow/chase you for you to buy a product from them, kinda ridiculous. Thank goodness for our tour guides who kind of fended them off! What a long day, but the trips not over…we were off to Barcelona the next day! How am I still alive?
Once we got to Barcelona it was about 10pm, but don’t you worry we had plenty of time to get ready to go out… We headed to the Club around 2am, and to get in without paying a cover you must mention the name Michael Jordon when walking in. What did I get myself into? But I must say the clubs are out of control…soOoOoOoo many strobe lights, almost had a mini seizure while in there! The next day let’s just say we might have been on strug street a little bit, you try staying up until 6am. But thankfully we gave ourselves plenty of time to site see in Barcelona so nothing was rushed. We saw the Sagrada Familia along with Gotti’s Park which had AMAZING views of Barcelona from up on a mountain.
Espana was absolutely breathtaking and I really think that it will be a country I will absolutely come back to visit, so much culture and history! The nightlife isn’t too bad either…;)
Should have been working on my broken SpangItalGlish a little more before…

Paris!
Paris, je t’aime!
This past weekend we were off to one of the most anticipated trips of the semester, Paris! I can’t believe I finally got to visit! We got in late Thursday night and headed out for a few drinks. The next day we were up and out for a day of sightseeing! We started with the Lourve, then off to Notre Dame where we also passed the Love Locks bridge (the one where Big finds Carrie in Sex and the City!). Next it was off to Luxemburg Gardens, where we so happened to pass Sorbonnes University! After a gelato and Starbucks break we set off for the Eiffel Tower. Once there we plopped ourselves down on Champ de Mars and enjoyed the sun and the view! After that we got some traditional French cuisine, steak and fries, who knew, and then headed out for the night.
The next day we made our way to Versailles! It was absolutely beautiful! The gardens behind the palace were endless and just landscaped to perfection, plus we couldn’t have asked for better weather. After Versailles we headed up to Moulin Rouge (a famous burlesque club in Paris) to take a few pictures outside. I love that movie, maybe it’s the same on the inside? I doubt it. After Moulin Rouge we headed to Longchamp to purchase a few bags ;) then we enjoyed another French Cuisine, Croque Madame. It is bread with ham and cheese melted onto it with a fried egg on top! So delicious.
The next day we were off to Champs Elysses (where the Arc di Triumphe is) and this happens to be where all the most incredible stores were. Including a 8-story Louis Vuitton, it was crazy! After popping into a few stores we headed closer to the Arc di Triumphe to snap a few pictures and then headed off to the Eiffel Tower for a second time to climb it! Definitely a cool view!
After that we grabbed some dinner and headed to bed, since we had to wake up at 3:30am for our flight. Paris was absolutely amazing! I wish I could study abroad there, easily my favorite city in Europe thus far!
Au revoir!
